Begun by two ecoactivists, Carlos Zorilla and Sandy Statz, the reserve is in the vicinity of Apuela, and is a model of environmental friendliness. Rustic wooden cabins, solar-generated electricity and homegrown vegetables are indicators of their philosophy. Visitors can see their operation and explore the jungle for themselves at US$45 per person per day, including all meals and guides. For advance reservations fax: [06] 923392
