Originally
the rural town
Guayzimi belonged
to the Zamora
parish. However,
on November
26th 1987, a
new parish was
officially recognised
and published
in the official
register. As
the new parish
extended into
the agriculturally
rich and fertile
Nangaritza valley,
the whole parish
was named after
the valley.
Guayzimi was
designated as
its main town,
known from then
on as Nangaritza.
Places
