 OTAVALO / THINGS TO DO

Mountain biking [average rates are between US$4 and US$6* per day]

The Yanayacu complex lies on the Panamericana and has volleyball courts and swimming pools. On weekends it's very crowded.

Pelota de mano is a popular ball game played on Quiroga and Sucre street, very close to the market. It's the same game as the one played in Ibarra, but the ball is a leather ball the same size as a table-tennis ball that the players hit with their hands.
